چکیده
2 VRMLモデルへの変換 まず、顔ツール群 [2]に含まれる FaceFitを用いて、3次 元ワイヤーフレームモデルを顔画像にフィッティングする。 FaceFitでは、その結果を独自フォーマットで保存してい るが、これに VRML(1.0/2.0)形式でファイルを保存する 機能を追加した。この機能拡張により、作成した顔モデル データを広くインターネットで公開することが可能になる。 また、既存のVRML空間の中にアバタとして顔モデルデー タを自由に組み込むことができる。 一方、顔ツール群に含まれる FaceExpでは、顔モデル データに対する表情付けを行うことができる。VRML2.0 では、モデルの内部状態をフィールドの形で外部に公開し ており、イベントメカニズムを通してこのフィールドの読 み書きを行うことにより、モデルをインタラクティブかつ 動的に変化させることができる [3]。本稿では、この動的な 動作記述を Javaで行うことにより、VRML 形式の顔モデ ルデータに対して FaceExpと同等の表情付けを実現する。
